Well, all metaphors aside, it seems that with Vincent when one door is open, another one's closed. Sometimes I think I have the key and it will work, but all the pulling and coaxing has no success. The cold is taking it's toll on his health and sometimes there's some coughing, or he's frostbitten. I feel sorry for him, but I am trying to keep him happy. I even finally gave him his Christmas present.
I'm sort of looking forward to when I can finally get a better car, but he'll do for now.
